A fresh look to the NFL

As the 2026 NFL season approaches, five teams are making headlines with their brand-new jerseys. From bold color changes to nostalgic throwbacks, these teams are bringing fresh energy to the field. Here’s an inside look at the new jerseys for the Tennessee Titans, Los Angeles Rams, Atlanta Falcons, Washington Commanders and Baltimore Ravens.

The Tennessee Titans have made the biggest splash this season, introducing a brand new color scheme and logo. The redesign, which officially removes Greek mythology-themed sword imagery, includes white helmets with a new logo, featuring a “T” with three stars. Senior Omari Hallman said this new direction will make the Titans stand out even more. Hallman said, “I love how the Titans are bringing back some of the Oilers colors. It looks classic but still new at the same time.”

The Los Angeles Rams have dropped their old gradient look and are now rocking a pure gold and blue uniform with an improved shoulder horn design. The new primary logo is bolder, and the gold pops on the field. Junior Brazil Thomas said the Rams’ new look will be a hit for fans and players alike. “The Rams look way better with the solid gold. The new logo is cool too — more like the old school Rams. It’s simple, but it stands out,” Thomas said.
The Atlanta Falcons’ new jersey designs includes a striking matte black helmet with a silver facemask. The new threads feature red accents and a sleeker font for the numbers. A white jersey has been added with the word “Atlanta” on the chest. There is a hidden “dirty birds” featured inside the neck collar. Sophomore CJ Watts likes the Falcons’ fresh style. “The matte black helmet is my favorite part. The new jerseys are cool — red and black always look good together,” Watts said.

The Washington Commanders are shaking things up with new alternate jerseys and throwback options. Their alternates use burgundy and gold, while the throwbacks pay tribute to the team’s past. The uniform features a glossy helmet with a gold facemask and an added three stripe pattern. Hallman said, “The Commanders’ throwbacks are cool. I like when teams remember their history, and the new alternates are different but still fit with their colors.”

Finally, the Baltimore Ravens have launched the “Next Flight” collection, which includes bold new helmet designs and jersey tweaks. There are feather details on the shoulders and a gradient-effect on the numbers showing a three stripe talon of a raven. Thomas is excited by the Ravens’ updates. “The new helmets are wild, and I like the feather details on the jersey. The numbers look cool with the fade too. It’s one of the best new looks this year,” Thomas said.

With so many new designs, the 2026 NFL season is shaping up to be one of the most stylish yet. These bold looks show how teams can honor their history while still moving forward with fresh ideas. Whether fans prefer the classic throwbacks of the Commanders, the Oilers-inspired Titans, or the modern updates from the Rams, Falcons, and Ravens, there’s something exciting for everyone to see on the field this year.
