Exchanging gifts with loved ones is a significant part of the holiday season.

The holiday season is supposed to be a stress-free time to celebrate and be with your family and friends. However, when it comes to gift-giving, stressful feelings arise. It can be hard to find the right gifts for your loved ones. While there are thousands of stores online or in person the thought process of choosing the gift may be hard and time-consuming. Don’t fret! Here is a helpful guide to giving the best gifts for the holiday season.

It can be difficult to find the perfect present to show thanks for all your mother, grandmother, aunt or other important family member does. There is always the option of customizable gifts like pictures, coffee mugs and jewelry. Jewelry is a popular gift and always a reliable one with a big range of prices. For a higher price range, there are beautiful options at Nordstrom and Bloomingdale. For a more mid-range budget, there are Adinas Jewels and Mejuri. For a lower price range, there is Amazon, and Target and at department stores, there can be low-priced nice jewelry.

Perfumes or candles are another popular item because there are so many scents to choose from. To go for a cheaper price of candles there are options at Target, Amazon, TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Yankee Candles. For a higher-end candle, there is Anthropologie, Bloomingdales, Bath and Body Works and Amazon-carried brands like Candle Delirium, Nest and Molton Brown. For perfumes, prices range at Nordstrom, Sephora, Target and Amazon. Montgomery Mall or Tyson’s Corner is guaranteed to have a plethora of aromas to choose from.

For a father, uncle, grandpa or other important figure: Everyone knows how much a dad loves his sunglasses. For a more expensive price, a few brands are Ray-Ban, Oakley and Maui, Jim. For more reasonable prices, JandS Vision and Kent Wang are reliable brands. For the most budget-friendly shades, look at Target, Amazon, CVS or any department store. A hat is always a good gift to buy since they are easy to find and affordable. Hats can be bought at various stores and can have designs that range from a favorite sports team to a funny joke. Options include Dicks, Lids, Finatics and there is always Amazon. Flip-flops, sneakers, slides and other shoes are also great gifts and they can be found everywhere. Popular shoe stores are Zappos for all types of footwear, and to go more specific for slides or sneakers, there’s Nike, Under Armour and Adidas. Good brands for flip flops include OluKai, Rainbows and Okabashi. Other great gifts for father figures are exercise equipment, tools, backpack/travel luggage, pictures, dishes such as coffee mugs, socks and ties.

Buying gifts for siblings is hard because it is unlikely you know exactly what to buy for them. For a sister, there are popular items such as clothing and makeup, which can be bought from many stores. There’s Lululemon, Zara, H&M, PacSun and Aritzia for clothes. For makeup, Sephora, Ulta, Target or CVS are all viable options. Other gifts could be customizable online at Amazon or in-store or online at Michaels. For a brother, you can get clothes from places like Nike, Under Armour and Adidas, for athletic everyday wear. For higher-end clothes, there’s Quiet Storm for daily wear and Vineyard Vines and Nordstrom for going out.

For friends or significant others, you can always get gift cards to food places, clothing, sports, and other stores you know they enjoy. You can get customizable pictures, picture frames and picture books, which have more meaning than a gift card.
