One popular drink is the Iced chai tea latte. This drink is black tea infused with spices like cinnamon and clove. According to Starbucks, this drink is the “perfect balance of sweet and spicy.”

Junior Ella Cooper gets this drink whenever she goes to Starbucks. “This is my favorite drink right now and I recommend it to everyone. I like to get it with almond milk and sweet cream cold foam,” Cooper said.

For people who prefer cold brew, two of the best new drinks are the vanilla sweet cream cold brew and the salted caramel cream cold brew. The vanilla sweet cream cold brew is cold brew coffee with vanilla, topped with vanilla sweet cream. The salted caramel cream cold brew is a mix of cold brew coffee with caramel and topped with cold foam. This drink is a nice mix of salty and sweet. 

If you are looking for something refreshing on a warm spring day, one of the most popular drinks right now is the strawberry acai refresher. This drink includes passion fruit and açaí notes, as well as green coffee extract. Junior Ethan Fayne loves this drink. “I get this drink usually when the weather is nice because it is really refreshing,” Fayne said.  

One spring drink that is a must-try is the iced pineapple matcha. This drink includes pineapple and ginger with coconut milk. This drink was new to Starbucks last March. With the popularity of this drink, it has returned again this year.

On the other hand, if you are looking for a drink to warm you up on one of the colder days, a simple hot chocolate should do the trick. The Starbucks hot chocolate is definitely a favorite. The hot drink is made with steamed milk and mocha sauce. It is topped with optional whipped cream and chocolate-flavored drizzle. Starbucks referred to this drink as the “timeless classic made to sweeten your spirits.”

The white hot chocolate is another favorite made similar to the regular hot chocolate but with white chocolate sauce. Freshman Lily King likes to get the hot chocolate from Starbucks. “I am not a huge Starbucks drinker, but I love to get the white hot chocolate, especially when it is colder outside,” King said.

With the constantly growing Starbucks menu, it is easy to be overwhelmed by all of the choices. The drinks above are some of the favorites, but there are plenty others that are just as delicious. Now that it is spring, we can expect to see even more refreshing drinks to come.
