SMOB Nate Tinbite introduces new bill

The Montgomery County Board of Education is looking at introducing a bill that will connect athletics to academics. Student Member of the Board of Education Nate Tinbite introduced the idea that students who participate in a sport will receive a half semester credit of gym. Students are currently required to have two semesters of PE and one semester of health. This bill would offer another way for students to fulfill their gym credits without taking space in their schedule.
