Which water bottle is best?
Nothing is better than an ice cold drink on a hot day or a toasty warm drink on a cold day. Achieving this bliss is the job of the right container. Certain water bottles can help maintain your drink’s temperature. Water bottles also come in all different sizes and shapes to fit all occasions.
Athletes prefer to use the 72oz Under Armour jugs during practices and games. The size and insulation ensure your drink will stay cold and you have enough water to last you the whole time you are playing. Junior Arjun Ram said, “My favorite water bottle to use is the Under Armour jug 64 oz. It’s super convenient to use when I’m at baseball because it keeps my water ice cold. Its price is reasonable and it comes in many different colors as well.”
Different water bottles could be used for different temperatures of water. According to students, the Yeti bottle is most convenient for hot liquids because of its mouth spout that makes it easy to sip. On the other hand, a hydro flask is more convenient for cold drinks due to its straw. Senior Sophia Shad said, “I love to use my Yeti in the mornings to drink coffee but I’d definitely prefer to bring my hydro flasks to lacrosse practice to keep my water cold.
A water bottle that used to be popular was the Swell bottle. Junior Kelly Ren said, “I’d compare a Swell bottle to a hydro flask but I feel like I’d prefer a hydro flask more because a swell doesn’t have a handle and I’m a pretty clumsy person so I feel like I’d always drop it, so it wouldn’t be my first choice of water bottle.”
Hydro Flasks are popular at the moment. Senior Ethan Kuan said, “The best water bottle brand is easily hydro flasks. Talking from experience, the dents on the hydro flasks make them easily iconic, they sound the best when they hit the ground, and that water is always cold.”
Another common water bottle brand that is used is the Stanley Cup. These huge water bottles that are insulated are great for keeping the temperature regulated, as well as holding a large amount. Junior Tati Pacheco said, “I think Stanley Cups are so convenient for when I go on road trips since they last me the whole trip and I also love the colors the brand provides. I always use my Stanley when I go to soccer practice.” All these water bottles cost around 20-60 dollars.
